A Celosia with a feathery plume in bright golden-yellow. The soft flower plumes, which are 8–12 cm long, stand firmly on strong stems.

Celosia plumosa is excellent as a cut flower and can be used both fresh and dried.
Light-germinating, gently press the seeds down against the moist soil or cover lightly with Vermiculite to keep the seeds in place.
Plant out after hardening off when the risk of frost is over.
