Chasmanthium latifolium - Sea Oats, Spangle Grass

Chasmanthium latifolium, also known as Northern Sea Oats or Spangle Grass, is an ornamental grass grown for its decorative, drooping and flat ears. During autumn, it often changes into warm golden shades, and the seed arrangements are excellent for use in dried bouquets.

Sow preferably 3–5 seeds per plug in the ridge.
Plant out the plugs with a planting distance of approx. 30 cm

If germination does not occur after 3–4 weeks, a cooling period of 2–4 weeks is recommended.

Prefers moist but well-drained soil.
