In addition to being a fantastically productive cut flower, it is also loved by bees and butterflies.

Sow indoors 4-6 weeks before planting out and the risk of frost is over.
Light germination.
Can also be direct sown when the soil has warmed up and the weather has become warmer.

For the longest vase life, flowers should be harvested when they are still in the bud stage or only partially open.

The seed pods are great for drying, harvesting immediately when they have bloomed and shed all their petals.
