Peony poppy - Papaver somniferum "Purple Peony"

Peony poppy with plum-purple petals, which after flowering leaves capsules behind, which are excellent for drying for use in bouquets or other arrangements both summer and autumn.

Poppy can be directly sown when the soil has warmed up.

Can also be sown in autumn for earlier flowering the following year. Self-sows easily.
