Foxtail Millet - Setaria italica "Hylander"

Sow indoors in spring 4-6 weeks before the last frost, plant out when risk of frost is over.
Can also be sown directly outdoors when the soil has warmed up.

Cover the seeds with light soil when sowing.

Very popular with birds, so feel free to leave a few for the autumn.

The cobs are beautiful to use both in fresh bouquets or dried and used in dried arrangements.
