Basil Cinnamon - Ocimum basilicum

Nice addition to bouquets with a sweet cinnamon scent.
Fast-growing basil with violet stems and flowers.

Sow indoors 6 weeks before planting out and risk of frost is over.
Basil should not be sown one by one in each pot, rather sow several seeds in each pot or plug.
The seeds are not covered, alternatively a thin layer of vermiculite.
Can also be direct sown when the soil has warmed up and the weather has become warmer.

Best harvested early in the morning when the temperature is cooler and the leaves are less likely to wilt.
