Amaranthus cruentus "Hot Biscuits"

Suitable as a cut flower and as a "filler" in the bouquet and with its bronze to chestnut colored plumes it is ideal for both summer and autumn bouquets.

Sow indoors 4-6 weeks before the last frost and plant out after the risk of frost has passed.
Amaranth can also be direct sown in the garden when all risk of frost has passed.

Feel free to top the Amaranth when the plant is 20-25cm tall to encourage branching.

Perfect as a cut for both fresh and dried bouquets.
Harvest when at least 3/4 of the flowers on the inflorescence are open.
