Group 2: Starts blooming from early spring to summer

Lisianthus in lavender purple shade, with rose-shaped flowers measuring 5-7 cm in diameter.

Sow indoors about 12-13 weeks before planting out and risk of frost is over.
Light-germinating, can be covered lightly with Vermiculite to maintain a more even humidity.
Keep the seedbed moderately moist, not too wet but not too dry.

Lisianthus thrives in warm conditions, therefore it is recommended to grow them in greenhouses.
A challenge to sow, as they take time, so be patient!

Be gentle with its delicate roots when replanting and take care that they do not become root-bound.
The plants need support, such as a net support.

Harvest when one or more of the flowers on a stem have started to open.
