Hollyhook - Alcea rosea "Spring Celebrity Apricot"

Hollyhock with both double and single curly, fragrant flowers in apricot on shorter stems than usual.
The hollyhock is a biennial and forms a so-called rosette of leaves the first year, then blooms the following year, forms seeds and self-sows.
Drought-resistant and thrives in most soils but prefers a warm, well-drained location. Has a taproot that searches far into the soil for nutrients.
